Boston's Dynamic Duo Fuels Celtics' Victory
Porzingis' Absence No Match for Tatum and Brown
Celtics One Win Away from Title
The Boston Celtics took a commanding lead in the NBA Finals on Sunday night, riding the exceptional performances of their star duo, Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown. Despite the absence of injured big man Kristaps Porzingis, Tatum and Brown stepped up to fill the void and power the Celtics to a 120-108 victory.
Tatum led the way with a game-high 34 points, while Brown added 27 points and 9 rebounds. The duo combined for 12-of-25 shooting from three-point range, proving unstoppable from beyond the arc.
Luka Doncic, the reigning MVP, put up another impressive performance for the Dallas Mavericks, tallying 31 points, 10 rebounds, and 11 assists. However, his efforts weren't enough to overcome the Celtics' hot shooting and strong defense.
With the series now 3-2 in Boston's favor, the Celtics are just one win away from securing their 18th NBA championship. Game 6 will take place at TD Garden in Boston on Thursday night.
